What equipment does my player need?

Most gear can be purchased online or at local sporting goods stores. You can often find good used options on Facebook Marketplace. If helpful, you can reference our LHL Equipment Wishlist as a guide.

• Men’s lacrosse stick: For beginners, we recommend the Warrior Burn Next Complete Attack Lacrosse Stick (2023). This is the only equipment necessary for 8U.
• Men’s defense lacrosse stick: For defenders, consider the Warrior Burn Next 70" Complete Defense Stick.
• Lacrosse helmet: We recommend Cascade helmets.
• Mouthpiece: Must be attached to the helmet and worn at all times during practices and games.
• Shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves: Starter sets are available online and at local stores.
• Cleats: Lacrosse, football, or soccer cleats are acceptable as long as they do not have metal soles.
• Athletic cup

Tip: Try gear on before removing tags to confirm fit. Pads should be snug but allow full range of motion.
