🙌 A big thank you to Diane Workman for organizing the new LHL logo, pinnies, and camp shirts. She put a lot of care into making this first camp special for our athletes, coaches, and volunteers. We really appreciate it!
ACC (Atascocita Community Church) has raised enough money to expand its facilities, so we will be moving off its fields. We are looking for a new permanent home for LHL and are confident we will find one before the season begins. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this exciting new chapter for our program.
As we start leasing our own field space, we will need help from our community to make it possible. This is where you can help. Please see our fundraising section below.
We have big goals ahead, like securing a long-term field lease for our athletes. Every donation helps build the future of Lake Houston Lacrosse. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on your generosity to make everything we do possible.
Zeffy does not charge any platform fees, so every dollar you give goes directly to LHL.
Are you interested in becoming a sponsor? We offer recognition opportunities starting at $100, with benefits for your business or family name throughout our program.
In May, LHL teamed up with USA Lacrosse to provide professional development training for more than 50 Humble ISD PE teachers. Now, every teacher who attended can apply for a grant to get free lacrosse equipment for their school, with no cost to them or their school.
Do you know a PE teacher at a Humble ISD campus? Please share this with them and encourage them to apply. Free gear means more kids get to play!
📚 Our goal is to put a lacrosse storybook in each of Humble ISD's 30 elementary school libraries. The books will come straight to us and then be shared with the schools by the district's Library and Media Services team.
Would you like to help? You can buy a book from our Amazon wish list, and it will be sent right to us.
Last week we hosted end-of-season pool parties for all three divisions, and it was a fantastic time! We love seeing our athletes connect off the field. Keep an eye on SportsYou and our social pages for photos and updates about future team events.
We want to hear from you. If you have a question, a suggestion, or just want to share feedback, please reach out anytime. LHL is built by this community, and your voice matters.
